About Mark Onslow
Professor Mark Onslow is Director of the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at The University of Sydney. He is a Principal Research Fellow of the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia. He has extensive clinical experience and clinical trials research experience, and is in continual demand as an international speaker.
At his workplace at the Australian Stuttering Research Centre he is located at the interface of clinical research and clinical practice. His core work activity is the translation of research into clinical practice, and he works with clinicians and scientists around the world in the conduct of clinical trials of treatments for adults and children who stutter.
Professor Onslow is in continual demand as a speaker, having recently concluded a six-city speaking tour of the United States. He is the most published author on the Institute of Scientific Information data base in the field of stuttering during the past ten years, and during that period he and his colleagues have published the majority of speech pathology trials of stuttering treatment.
